For the occasion of the Melbourne Design Fair 2023, the Ross Gardam studio will present a curation of new luminaire designs, first unveiled at the recent Milan Design Week. After a successful solo show in Milan, a selection of these new limited edition pieces will be on display for the first time in Australia.

Vestige was conceived as an optical device to create a sense of wonderment. Ora Raw desk lamp reflects a desire for purity and honesty in materials and manufacturing, celebrating the tactility of aluminium. The Hemera Accorsi table lamp is powerful in its simplicity of form, with two solid circular volumes formed from a slab or Accorsi stone, intersecting to create a striking desktop monolith and a lighting device of refined functionality.

 

 

 

 

While summoning the presence of the otherworldly, drawn from the deep, Noctiluca’s ethereal form transcends the conventional. Floating, suspended parallel to the wall, thirty-two lamps adorn the band in a mesmerising motif.
