ADR 30UNDER30 | Mentoring the Next Generation of Australian Design

  • ADR 30UNDER30 | Mentoring the Next Generation of Australian Design
  • Event - June 2026

As part of Australian Design Review’s renowned 30UNDER30 program, Ross Gardam joined an esteemed panel of industry mentors dedicated to supporting the next generation of Australian designers.

The initiative recognises emerging talent across interior design, product design, architecture and the broader built environment, pairing participants with experienced leaders for a year-long mentorship journey and an immersive retreat in Bali.

Hosted at Potato Head, the retreat brought together mentors and participants for workshops, discussions and shared experiences focused on creativity, leadership and connection.

Throughout the program, Ross shared his experience in building a design practice and connected with participants and fellow mentors across the industry. His involvement reflects an ongoing commitment to supporting emerging designers and fostering a strong design community.

It was a pleasure to spend time in Bali alongside such an inspiring group of mentors and emerging designers, with the relaxed setting providing the perfect backdrop for meaningful conversations and new connections.
