Introducing Solace

  • Introducing Solace
  • Lighting - April 2025

Solace is a luminous glass tear that transforms with movement, revealing two distinct identities in light and form. Gardam’s exploration of geometric form continues with the interplay of two perpendicular, intersecting circles, which serve as the foundation for this intricate composition.

Visually enchanting, Solace emerges from a series of experiments that use innovative engineering and push the boundaries of traditional glassblowing techniques. Through the blowing process, each complex shape develops a distinct, subtly textured glass surface, making every light truly one of a kind.

Available in pendant and table lamp architypes, Solace finds its place whether suspended individually, clustered in formations or positioned upright on a surface. Each glass shade is crafted in Australia and hand assembled in our Melbourne based studio.  This sculptural pendant is available in a selection of mouth blown glass finishes combined with a highly refined brass body in natural hand-rubbed brass, bronze or blackened brass.

Solace launched during our solo exhibition LUMINESCENT DUALITY, at Milan Design Week 2025.
