This property by Melbourne design firm Heartly is Hawthorn’s undeniably fresh take on contemporary living. With the placement of natural oak pendants suspended above the central marble kitchen counter, we couldn’t be more proud to see our designs in context of one of the most beautiful, inspiring homes we’ve seen recently. It’s always a pleasure to see such style and elegance used in such an austere considered way.
Three Large Oak Pendants balance the brightness of the stunningly fresh marble kitchen of Hawthorn House. A collaboration between Hearlty, Domoney Architecture, their bold yet grounded clients allowed for no shortage of inspiration for this tranquil and original family home. Concrete, marble, timber and glass are the bold core materials featured as sweeping curves and layered textures. The shapes within the building and glimpses of the world outside contribute to the sense of intrigue and awe. The interiors provide connection between the spaces and ensure flow and cohesion making this remarkable building a much loved home for the family who live here.
